Execution Intent

Meaning

Execution Intent defines the desired outcome and constraints for a trading order, rather than specifying the exact sequence of low-level actions. It communicates the strategic objective to an automated trading system, such as minimizing slippage, achieving a specific average price, or completing a trade within a time limit. Its purpose is to abstract the complexity of trade execution, particularly within crypto Request for Quote (RFQ) and smart trading environments.
