Regime-Based Models

Meaning

Regime-Based Models are quantitative analytical frameworks that assume financial markets or economic systems operate under distinct, identifiable states or “regimes,” each characterized by different statistical properties, such as volatility, correlation, and return distributions. In crypto investing, these models are applied to adapt trading strategies, risk assessments, and asset allocations based on the prevailing market conditions, like bull, bear, or consolidation phases.
